Community Standards
MediaCreators, LLC
Last updated: September 2, 2026
Every streaming community on MediaCreators is its creator's space, with its own rules. These standards are the common floor across the network: they apply to everyone who participates —creators and audiences— in live chats, streams, videos, and any other surface operated on our infrastructure. Creators may add stricter rules for their community; never looser than this floor.
Prohibited across the network
1. Illegal activity. Using a streaming community for illegal activity or to facilitate it.
2. Child safety. Zero tolerance for any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. We terminate accounts immediately and, where the law requires it, report to the relevant authorities (including NCMEC in the United States).
3. Violence and threats. Credible threats against people, incitement to violence, and celebration of violent acts.
4. Hate and harassment. Attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or illness. Sustained, targeted harassment of any person.
5. Privacy and doxxing. Publishing third parties' personal information without consent (addresses, phone numbers, documents) and non-consensual intimate imagery.
6. Self-harm. Content that promotes or glorifies suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders.
7. Sexually explicit content. Sexually explicit content on any surface of the network. Beyond this floor, it also breaches the policies of the payment processors that make monetization possible.
8. Fraud, spam, and malware. Scams, phishing, malicious links, repetitive spam, and community manipulation.
9. Impersonation. Pretending to be another person, another creator, or MediaCreators.
10. Intellectual property. Publishing content that infringes third-party rights. Copyright claims follow the DMCA process described in our Terms of Service (Section 8).
11. Prohibited commerce. Selling or offering, through a streaming community, goods or services that are illegal or prohibited by payment processor policies.
12. Enforcement evasion. Using new or borrowed accounts to evade a timeout, a ban, or a termination.
How these standards are enforced
Moderation works in two layers. The creator is the first line in their community: they can delete messages, apply timeouts, and ban people under their own house rules. MediaCreators is the second line and the guarantor of this floor: we review reports and may remove content, restrict accounts, or ban a person across the entire network.
We act primarily on the basis of reports. When we receive one, we review it and act within a reasonable time. Severe violations —categories 2 and 3 in particular— may result in immediate termination with no intermediate steps.
How to report
- In live chat: use the Report option on any message.
- For any other content (videos, streams, profiles): use our public report form or write to legal@mediacreators.io with the link and a description of the issue.
Consequences
Depending on severity and recurrence: content removal, timeout, community ban, network-wide ban, or account termination. We keep a record of the measures we apply.
Appeals
If you believe a measure was a mistake, reply to the notice you received or write to legal@mediacreators.io within 14 days. A person will review your case.
House rules
Each creator may publish additional rules for their streaming community, visible in the chat rules panel. Those rules can be stricter than these standards; never replace them.
Changes
We may update these standards; the date above reflects the current version. Material changes are communicated per our Terms of Service.
